Run Android 5.1 Lollipop Exton build on your Raspberry Pi 2

I have compiled an Android 5.1 Lollipop system which can run on Raspberry Pi 2. I call “my” new system RaspAnd.

What is Raspberry Pi?

The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python. It’s capable of doing everything you’d expect a desktop computer to do, from browsing the internet and playing high-definition video, to making spreadsheets, word-processing, and playing games.

  1. How does this get on when there is no proper videodriver for the BCM chip? I recall a BCM engineer is writing one in his own time but nothing yet….

  2. How have you got around the lack of a proper video driver for the Broadcom graphics chip? According to the Rasp Pi foundation there is no driver. A Broadcom engineer was looking at this in his own time but I don’t recall ever seeing a driver released

  3. It’s OK but how load apk via adb from windows . after try: adb devices 192.xxx is always offline
and can’t download appli playstore, sshdroid because message at end of download “memory USB ?”
    Thanks
